Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company (ZCDC) is diamond mining company under Mutapa Investment Fund, Zimbabwe’s sovereign wealth fund. ZCDC began mining operations in 2016 and is currently operating in Chiadzwa and Chimanimani areas, Manicaland Province.The Company was incorporated in 2015 under the Companies Act of Zimbabwe (Chapter 24.03). In March 2016, ZCDC started operating after the Government consolidated all the diamond mining concessions in Chiadzwa. ZCDC currently has operations in the Chiadzwa area and in Chimanimani and is conducting extensive exploration and evaluation across Zimbabwe in search of Kimberlite pipes which can be mined economically.
