A geologist and gemmologist, with over 35 years’ experience in marketing minerals, especially precious stones, and other non-metals.

Dorothy worked at the Minerals Marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe (MMCZ) for 38 years, rose through the ranks and her last post was Marketing Executive for Non-Metals (2003- August 2021). In 1992, was attached for four months to Graubart BVBA in Belgium as Trainee Rough Diamond Sorter and Evaluator. She joined MMCZ in September 1984 having been seconded from the Ministry of Mines and Mining Development, where she worked as an Administrative Assistant for eight months between 1983- 1984.

George Dondoredziva-Mawere is a distinguished Human Resources Executive with over 25 years of experience in the mining industry.

George's career commenced at Anglo American Corporation - Zimbabwe Alloys Ltd in April 1995. He progressed through various HR roles, ultimately becoming Group Senior HR Officer in July 2002. In January 2007, he joined Zimasco Pvt Ltd as Human Resources Manager for the Middle and North Dyke Division. His notable achievements at Zimasco include establishing HR Departments as centers of excellence through the successful implementation of a computerized records management system. George transitioned to Mimosa in April 2010 as Human Resources Manager before assuming his current role.
He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Midlands State University (2006) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Zimbabwe (1994). George's commitment to excellence is further evidenced by his leadership roles on various boards, including serving as Chairman of the Midlands Provincial Advisory Board since March 2021, a Board Member of Gweru Sacred Heart College since January 2020, and Chairman of FC Platinum Holdings from January 2014 to February 2020.

He is a holder of a Doctorate in business Administration and holds a Master of Science Degree in International Relations another Masters of Commerce Degree in Strategic Management and Corporate Governance , Bachelor of Commerce Honors Degree Business Management, a Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism Studies and Certificate in Diplomacy, Protocol and Etiquette - Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy and a Certificate in Telecommunications Policy Regulation Management among other qualifications.
He has been awarded various accolades for recognition of his outstanding work by the Institute of Public Relations Zimbabwe (IPRZ), Marketers Association of Zimbabwe (MAZ) and the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC). Recently he was recognized and was included on the list of the 40 most influential young Zimbabweans under the age of 40 by the Institute of Corporate Directors Zimbabwe.
He has represented the country in various diplomatic assignments and was nominated by the Government to be Zimbabwe’s Candidate for the position of Commissioner for Infrastructure and Energy at the African Union.
