Wayne Neshumba electric wheelchair presentation
ZCDC Chief Operating Officer Mr. Dennis Mtombeni presented an electric wheelchair to a 17-year-old boy, Wayne Neshumba, from Kuudzehwe village, Ward 30 Chiadzwa at ZCDC Health Centre yesterday. The event, which aligns with the company’s Corporate Social Investment initiatives, was witnessed by Wayne’s mother, Ms Violent Maramba, and some ZCDC employees.
Defold Mine and Mutapa Investment Fund Visit to Chiadzwa and Chimanimani 5-6 July 2025
Defold Mine Board members led by the Vice Chairperson Mrs. Memory Mukondomi and Mutapa Investment Fund (MIF) Natural Resources Analyst Ms. Gamuchirai Hogwe, this week undertook a familiarisation tour of the Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company (ZCDC) operations in Chiadzwa and Chimanimani (Portal E). Defold is ZCDC’s Shareholder, and MIF is Defold’s Shareholder.

We are the Champions ZCDC Chiadzwa and Chimanimani teams scooped the first and second positions under the surface mining category. Faith Kudzaishe Chikwanha of Team ZCDC Chiadzwa won the Best Captain and Best Female First Aider awards. Brian Samu of ZCDC was the best casualty surface side.
