RIG MECHANIC
Reporting to the Engineering Foreman, the job is based at the Mine and is responsible for the following:
Summary of Duties:
- Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in order to prevent breakdowns which affect production.
- Carrying out new installations and modifications on rigs
- Carrying out daily inspection and routine checks on rigs.
- Ensuring that breakdowns are resolved in shortest possible time.
- Ensuring proper documentation is done for record keeping.
- Adhering to SHEQ policies and standards.
